Super Bowl is undoubtedly one of the most exciting times of the year for football fans and this year Super Bowl will be held in Atlanta at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. If you’re planning to attend Super Bowl 2019, here’s everything you need to know to have a great time.
The Mercedes-Benz Stadium (home of the Atlanta Falcons) is located at 1 AMB Drive NW, Atlanta, GA. Replacing the Georgia Dome in 2016 and officially opening in 2017, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium is decked out in the latest technology, including a retractable roof. The stadium is only 3 miles from InTown Suites Atlanta Central location and only 8.7 miles from InTown Suites Smyrna. Book a week-long stay at one of our properties (even if you only plan on staying a night or two) and your stay will likely be cheaper than a one-night stay at any downtown Atlanta hotel!
Transportation/Parking/Tailgating
Public transportation can be a budget-friendly and efficient when heading to downtown Atlanta. The closest MARTA (Atlanta’s public transportation system) station from our InTown Suites Atlanta Central is the Arts Center Station. From there you’ll take the Red or Gold line to Five Points Station and transfer to the Blue or Green line to Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station. Most rides are $2.50 each way.
There are multiple lots available for Super Bowl parking, however, it is best to buy your tickets online well before the Super Bowl. Each parking lot has its own pricing and tailgating regulations, we’ve put together a list of parking lots that allow and do not allow tailgating.
If you are interested in tailgating you may also purchase parking and tailgating packages before the Super Bowl in Atlanta. Gameday packages include various amenities like tents, TVs, tables, chairs, etc.
