InTown Gives Thanks

InTown Gives Thanks

It’s that time of year again when it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of traveling, delicious food and gift buying. All those things are great but the holiday season is really about spending time with family, giving thanks, and giving back to the community. We want to take a look back at this time last year and recount how InTown Suites gave thanks in 2017!

InTown has over 200 properties nationwide and it’s important for us to give back and bring joy to the local communities that our properties and employees reside in. It’s our privilege to be able to help others who are less fortunate than us, especially during this time of year.

Our InTown Suites Extended Stay in Chattanooga, TN (Lee Highway location) staff was able to donate two turkeys and a ham to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen last year for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The InTown Suites Extended Stay in Orlando, FL on University Blvd gave back by hosting Puerto Rican refugees and passing out Thanksgiving meals donated by Latino Leadership.

Mozel Sanders Foundation and InTown Suites Extended Stay Indianapolis at Traders Point property worked together last year to deliver 50 Thanksgiving dinners to guests that were unable to spend the holiday with their family.

Greater Atlanta Christian Academy’s High School worked with two Norcross, GA InTown Suite properties to bring lunches for the children living at InTown. The players came and delivered lunch to a list of rooms that both properties provide.

We love it when the community comes together to help us give back!

InTown Suites Athens, GA, and Denver, CO gave back by putting together fall arts & crafts activities and treats for the children on the property. It’s was a great way to show thanks and spread smiles.

The Southern Virginia InTown Suites properties came together and collected food to donate to the Salvation Army. Last year was their 13th annual food drive and they were proud to fill up a truck full of food for those less fortunate. The San Antonio and Austin properties had their 2nd annual food drives last year. They collectively donated over 694 lbs of food, that’s sure to feed a lot of hungry families!

Spending time with team members and giving back to employee’s families is a core value of InTown Suites. Last year, InTown Suites Extended Stay in Atlanta, GA, Dothan, AL, and Marietta, GA all took time to celebrate their employees and their families.

The Atlanta property provided a Thanksgiving dinner to its team and families so they can all spend time bonding and meeting each other’s families. Dothan and Marietta InTown Suites properties provided a Thanksgiving lunch feast to its hard-working staff to enjoy.
