Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical | Buell Theater, Dec. 16–18.

Based on the beloved television classic, this stage adaptation of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer shows us that what makes us different is also what makes us special. See all of your favorite characters on stage including Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster, Yukon Cornelius, Santa and Mrs. Claus, and of course, Rudolph! Tickets start at just $20.

The Nutcracker | Ellie Caulkins Opera House, Nov. 26–Dec. 24.

Experience the timeless magic of this holiday favorite. The Colorado Ballet’s 56th annual production of The Nutcracker promises exquisite dancing, exciting battles, dazzling costumes, and captivating music from the Colorado Ballet Orchestra. Kids of all ages (and adults too) will be swept up in this classic Christmas story. Tickets always go quickly so be sure to get yours soon.

1st Annual Gingerbread House Competition | History Colorado, Nov. 25–Dec. 11.

These unique confectionary creations might look good enough to eat, but you’ll probably get your hand slapped if you try. Created by culinary students at the Art Institute of Colorado, these gingerbread houses are all based on famous Denver homes and buildings listed National Register of Historic Places. Stop by the lobby of History Colorado to see these sweet structures and vote for your favorite.
