Forsyth Park

Named after Georgia’s former governor, John Forsyth, Forsyth park is home to the famous Confederate Memorial and many events/festivals throughout the year. Open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Savannah National Wildlife Refuge
694 Beech Hill Ln, Hardeeville, SC
With over 3,000 acres of trails for hiking and biking, visitors can explore the refuge’s rich history dating back to the early 1700s. We recommend going to the Savannah NWR visitor center and finding a map so you can pick the trail that suits you. In addition, the wildlife refuge mentions not to take uber or any other ride service due to lack of transportation roads and cell service.
Old Fort Jackson
1 Fort Jackson Rd, Savannah, GA
This national landmark is a must-see event, located minutes away from historic downtown Savannah. It has interactive activities for all ages, plus the opportunity to walk along Savannah’s riverfront and one of the oldest brick fortifications on the east coast. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for children, open from 9 am- 5 pm daily.
Wormsole Historic Site
7601 Skidaway Rd, Savannah, GA
The Wormsole Historic Site is a tribute to Noble Jones, who established the Savannah area during its origin around the early 1700s. The site has features like; tabby ruins, gravesites, nature trails, and guided tours at 9:30 am, 11 am, 1:30 pm, and 3 pm. Tickets are $10.00 for adults (18–61), $9.00 for seniors (62+), $4.50 for youth (6–17), and $2.00 for children (under 6), open daily from 9 am- 5 pm.

Telfair Museums

The Telfair Museums is an accumulation of three museums; the Jepson Center, Telfair Academy, and the Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters. All three are equally rich in educational opportunities and are walking distance from each other. Tickets are priced at $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and active military, $15 for students, and $5 for children (5-12). The purchase of one ticket allows for admission to all three museums. Open 10 am- 5 pm (Tuesday-Saturday) and 12 pm- 5 pm (Sunday & Monday).
SCAD Museum of Art
601 Turner Blvd, Savannah, GA
The Savannah College of Art and Design has put together a collection of contemporary art that features emerging and established local/international artists. Tickets are $10 for general admission and free for children under 14. Hours are; 10 am – 5 pm Tuesday & Wednesday, 10 am – 8 pm Thursday, 10 am – 5 pm Friday – Saturday, noon – 5 p.m Sunday, and closed on Monday.
